WiFi

Staying in touch with loved ones isn’t limited to visiting hours with our hospital WiFi. Both patients and visitors can enjoy free internet access.

To access the hospital WiFi:

• connect to the “Guest” wireless network
• enter your details and accept terms and conditions
• click the “Hotspot Login” button.

Electronic displays

You will notice a number of electronic display screens throughout the hospital.

Our hospital entrance has a touch-screen television to assist you with finding your way through our facility.

Each medical consulting suite has an electronic screen with the name of the specialist consulting in the room that day.

We have televisions at the hospital entrance and on the wards that display important information such as hospital achievements, feedback received and other relevant information.

The Blue Wren Cafe

The cafe is located next to the Day Procedure Unit and is open to the public.  A range of healthy foods and refreshments are available.

The cafe is open Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 5pm, Saturday from 9.00am to 4.00pm, Sundays and public holidays from 9.00am to 3.00pm.

Phone orders are welcome by calling 08 9729 6310.

ATM

An atmx by Armaguard is located off the corridor next to the cafe.

Flowers

Flowers sent to the hospital and addressed to you will be delivered to your room. Vases are available on request.

Gift shop

The gift shop is located in the main foyer and is staffed by our volunteers.

You can buy cards, magazines, confectionery, drinks and homemade gifts.

Gift shop items are also available from a trolley which is taken around the wards each day by volunteers.

Chapel

Our hospital Chapel is located near the reception area at the main entrance.

You are invited to enjoy peace, reflection and prayer or simply a few quiet moments.

Our Chapel features some beautiful artwork by local artists.

Regular and special church services are available, with Mass being celebrated every Thursday at 11.00am.

Bike racks

Bike racks are located at the main entrance of the hospital.

Smoke-free campus

St John of God Bunbury Hospital is a smoke-free campus.

This means that smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hospital building or grounds.

Patient mail is delivered to the wards each day and should be addressed as follows:

Hospital facilities

Reception

Reception is open 6.00am to 9.00pm, seven days a week.

BreastScreen

BreastScreen is located just outside the hospital entrance and can be contacted on 13 20 50.

Hydrotherapy pool

Hydrotherapy can ease pain, decrease swelling in knees and legs, relax tight muscles and provide a safe place for people learning to walk again after surgery.

Please ask your doctor if you would like to access this facility.

Hydrotherapy and Babyswim classes are available to the public.

Medical consulting suites

The hospital’s medical centre has a range of resident and visiting medical specialists who consult in modern, state-of-the-art and easily accessible consulting suites.

St John of God Bunbury Hospital has a range of resident and visiting medical specialists who consult in modern state-of-the-art consulting suites.

These specialists are either located at the Medical Centre within St John of God Bunbury Hospital or at the St John of God Bunbury Specialist Centre.

Please check with your doctor to confirm the location of your appointment. 

Pharmacy

The South West Hospital Pharmacy is located just outside the hospital entrance and is open:

8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

9.00am to 2.00pm Saturdays and public holidays

9.00am to 12.00pm Sundays.

Radiology

Global Diagnostics is located inside the hospital entrance, open 8.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

South West Cancer Accommodation Centre

If you are travelling to Bunbury for cancer treatment, you may have the option of staying at the South West Cancer Accommodation Centre, located close to the hospital.
