Agreement signed gives go ahead for new hospital
A significant milestone was achieved this week in the development of the new $120 million St John of God Berwick Hospital, when final agreements were signed between St John of God Health Care and Generation Healthcare REIT.

St John of God Health Care and property group Generation Healthcare REIT will jointly own and construct the building, and we will enter into a long term secured lease to fit out and operate the clinical services at the hospital.
This followed the completion of the final designs for the hospital in early August.
With these two major stages in development complete, St John of God Berwick Hospital has now released its building tender for the construction of the hospital.
Building could start as early as October, and is expected to finish in mid-2017.
