First baby born in our new birthing suites

St John of God Bendigo Hospital midwives were delighted to welcome Roy, the first baby born in our new birthing suites.

Monday 25th March 2019 will be forever etched in our heritage as being the day we welcomed the first baby to be born in our new birthing suites.

Dr Emma Buckland and the midwifery team were very excited to deliver baby Roy, the second son for parents Breanna and Steve.

Nurse Unit Manager Melissa Oliver said all births are special but this one had a little bit of extra shine on it.

The birthing suite redevelopment has been a 6 month project and has been warmly welcomed by expectant Mums.
