Nurses commence postgraduate studies in Critical Care

Earlier this year St John of God Ballarat Hospital commenced a postgraduate course in Critical Care (ICU) affiliated with Australian Catholic University (National).

St John of God Ballarat Hospital’s Quality and Development Manager Josh Stott said our two students Jessica Gillies and Sarah Parker have undertaken two units with Australian Catholic University and two units with St John of God Ballarat Hospital.

“They attend onsite face-to-face education days facilitated by our ICU educator Kristy Price.”

“The course allows Jess and Sarah to attend a work site placement at St John of God Geelong Hospital for 8 weeks, learning a variety of new skills in their critical care unit (ICU),” Josh said.
