Counselling and support

St John of God Health Care provides a range of mental health, drug and alcohol, and disability support services in communities across Australia and New Zealand. These Social Outreach and Advocacy Services draw on the theme of capacity building and aim to enable people to better manage their own health.

Counselling services
Pomegranate House – community psychology service in Ballarat, Victoria.
Murdoch Community Mental Health – providing mental health (including social and emotional wellbeing) services in Fremantle, Western Australia.

Perinatal and infant mental health services
Raphael Centres – perinatal and infant mental health services in Victoria, NSW and WA providing support to pregnant women, parents and children up to the age of four.

Alcohol and other drug services
South West Community Drug Service Team – community drug and alcohol service operating across the southwest of WA, based in Bunbury.
DAWN (Drug and Alcohol Withdrawal Network) – home-based drug and alcohol withdrawal service in Perth.
Bloomsbury House – service for young people with co-occurring mental health and substance use issues in Ballarat, Victoria.
