Working with us

Volunteers

If you are interested in being part of our hospital community, you can volunteer your time at St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital.

Some of the roles our volunteers provide include administrative and admissions support, meeting and greeting patients and visitors, providing Eucharistic minister volunteer services and helping with heritage.

As a volunteer, you will receive:

  • free parking
  • a voucher for a meal from the café
  • a uniform shirt
  • training and an induction around the hospital.

Volunteering for the Cartwheels program

As part of the St John of God Health Care Arts and Philosophy Framework, we are running the Cartwheels art program.

This program aims to engage patients throughout the hospital by offering them the opportunity to take part in a variety of art projects.

We are looking for people with a range of skills, backgrounds and interests to volunteer for the project for three to four hours on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
