Mother Justine has a special connection to St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital having been born at the hospital and delivering all of her babies here, with the exception of one who was born while the family were overseas.
With the eldest of the children being 19 years old, Justine says there is never a dull moment in the Clare household.
“There is always something happening, but luckily the older kids are a great help with the younger ones,” she says.
The average age gap between children is two years, and Justine says she has managed to establish a rhythm.
“With the kids being fairly close in age, I have just stayed in the swing of things. I can’t remember what a good nights sleep is - it’s been years!”
When asked if the super-mum has any advice to share with other parents, Justine said, “do what is right for you and your family. What works for some doesn’t work for others, so find what works for you and go with it.”
Any more children on the horizon for the Clare family?
“I wouldn’t rule it out,” says Justine.
