The group comprised the 20th intake of St John of God trainee nurses in 1966, with intakes in January, April and August of that year.

They were aged around 17 moving out of home for the first time to Marian House, entering a strict regime of study and practical experience.

They came from across Victoria to undergo training
and now live throughout the country with some travelling from interstate as far as Queensland for the reunion.

The group spent the day together to reminisce and
some visited the hospital see the changes the hospital has undergone in recent years.
