Charity of Choice
Every two years a charity is chosen
by our caregivers to be our Charity of Choice. This provides
caregivers with the opportunity to raise money through various
fundraising activities, participate in supporting events and
gain an appreciation and understanding of our chosen charity.
Our 2011 - 2013 Charity
of Choice is Passages Resource Centre. Passages provides
Perth's marginalised and homeless young people with a “passage” to
help them to transition from one life to another. Young people are
helped to get off the streets and adopt safer and healthier
lifestyles.
Fundraising activities include
- Cake stalls
- Fund-raising raffles
- Donations of clothes, blankets and other items
- Book/craft stalls
