Sponsorship
The Sisters of St John of God began their work in
Australia over 100 years ago and from very humble
beginnings they established St John of God Health Care.
In addition to the health care service they provided, the
Sisters of St John of God became
involved in a wide range of community work and pastoral care. These
activities were in response to identified needs of people and
communities, which were not met by traditional means or
government funding.
In keeping with the legacy of the Sisters, the
Hospital supports various local community initiatives, events
and health care associations.
