Critical Care services

Our Critical Care Service is designed for the treatment of patients who are either seriously ill, at risk of developing a serious complication or are recovering from major surgery.

With 14 fully monitored beds the services provides Critical Care and Cardiac Care services by trained nurses and doctors. 24 hour medical cover is a feature of the services which also includes extensive cardiac investigation facilities and an on-site cardiac catheter laboratory.

Visiting times

• 9am–1pm
• 3pm–8pm
• however access will be dependent on the condition of the patient

Between 1pm and 3pm and after 8pm is a rest period in all areas.  A waiting area is provided within the unit for relatives and friends with tea and coffee making facilities.
