Hospital is an 95-bed private psychiatric hospital providing
comprehensive and holistic mental health care services in a setting

Our committed, multi-disciplinary team of

An integral part of St John of God Hospital Burwood is the
adjacent Medical Centre which supports the Hospital with
specialised medical consulting rooms. Our consultant psychiatrists
use a variety of treatments such as medication, cognitive
behavioural therapy and other psychotherapies to treat the entire
range of psychiatric disorders.
The Counselling and Therapy Centre is now a newly designed
purposse built stand alone Counselling Therapy Centre (CTC)
providing holistic, professional and compassionate care for mental
health needs in a safe, relaxed and caring environment. CTC
is now located at 420 Parramatta Road, Burwood.
Please note vehicle access/parking is via 3 Grantham Street.

Carers and Friends Information Evening
St John of God Burwood
Hospital offers an information evening for Family and Friends
of current and past patients. It is specifically designed to
provide education about mental illness in addition to providing
information on how carers can best support the patient, but also
take care of themselves. The session is run separate to patients,
to provide family with an environment to ask advice and support one
another, not pertaining to the individual patient.
This is held on the first Wednesday of the
