Some families choose to leave hospital
early in the post natal period, if your obstetrician is in
agreement.
That is why we offer
the
Berwick Midwives @ Home Service, a service that
enables you and your partner to receive expert one-on-one
aftercare in the comfort of your own home.
Our midwives are on hand to offer advice and
guidance to help you and your baby make a smooth transition into
your every day family life.
Our midwife will cover feeding, sleeping,
settling, general baby care and health & wellbeing of you and
your baby. They will help solve any issues that may arise and it is
an opportunity for you and your partner to talk though any
concerns you may have.
If you would like to use our Midwives @ Home
service, you can discuss this at any time with your midwife before
or during your hospital stay. The home visit will normally take
place 2 – 3 days after you return home and is fully tailored
to your own specific needs.
When at home, our midwives are available for telephone
advice and support 24 hours a day / 7 days a
