Pharmacy

The hospital has an onsite pharmacy department providing patient medications.Bendigo pharmacist

When coming to hospital as a patient, please bring all medications you currently take, in their original containers and packaging. You should also bring your prescriptions for these medications if there is a chance that you will run out during your time in hospital.

Your health insurance may not cover the cost of the hospital dispensing medication that is not related to your reason for being in hospital. This means that you may be charged for each item if you do not have your own supply. You may also be charged for medicines dispensed as discharge medication.

Pharmacists are available to discuss your medicines with you.  Please ask questions until you are sure you understand your medications.

The pharmacy is only able to supply services and medications to admitted patients, not to visitors, family or staff.

For further information, please contact the Pharmacy Department on 5434 3220 or via fax on 5434 3279.
