Flowers

Bendigo CCU nurse and patient

We regret flowers are not allowed in the CCU due to infection control measures. We ask that you hold off sending flowers until a patient is moved to another ward, or goes home. For more information on sending flowers to a patient in our hospital please see Patient and Visitor information.

Visiting hours

The visiting hours for all patients in the Critical Care Unit are:
11.00am to 1.00pm and 3.00pm to 8pm.

To ensure a speedy recovery there is a strict rest period for all patients between 1.00pm to 3.00pm. Visitors are asked to respect this rest time and are welcome to wait in our visitor waiting room, or visit again later. There are exceptions to the visiting hours when the patient is critically ill, but as they improve we will ask you once again to abide by our visiting hours. Usually we allow only two visitors per patient at a time.
