WiFi

Staying in touch with loved ones isn’t limited to visiting hours with our hospital WiFi. Both patients and visitors can enjoy free internet access.

To access the hospital WiFi:

• connect to the “Guest” wireless network
• enter your details and accept terms and conditions
• click the “Hotspot Login” button.

Television

All patient rooms offer 20 premium Foxtel Channels, with options to suit everyone's taste. We also offer Perth 'free-to-air' stations as well as some AM and FM radio stations and hospital information. 

Cafes

A number of cafes are available throughout the campus, offering a large selection of fresh foods and beverages.

Ferns Cafe

Ground floor of main hospital, near entrance
7.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday
7.00am to 7.00pm, weekends and public holidays (closed Good Friday and Christmas Day)

Fontenay Gardens Cafe

Ground floor of the medical clinic
7.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday.

The Coffee Club

Plaza level of the Wexford Medical Centre.

Lower ground floor of the Wexford Medical Centre facing Barry Marshall Parade.

Chapel

Our interdenominational Chapel is located on the ground floor of the main hospital in the main foyer. You are invited to visit this tranquil place for reflection, prayer or a few quiet moments.

Our hospital television network broadcasts Mass and other Chapel services on channel 15.

Florist 

A florist is located on the ground floor and offers a wide range of bouquets, floral arrangements and gifts. Gift baskets and special occasion bouquets are also available on order.

Pathology

Pathology is located on the ground floor of the Wexford Medical Centre, Barry Marshall Parade, Murdoch.

We have specialist experience in paediatric and difficult blood collections.

Services include:

• bulk-billing for pensioners, veteran’s affairs and health care card holders
• no appointment necessary, except for glucose tolerance tests.

SKG Radiology

SKG Radiology Murdoch provides all routine examinations and highly specialised procedures such as low radiation dose CT imaging, MRIs and nuclear medicine.

SKG is Radiology Murdoch located in the St John of God Murdoch Medical Centre, next to the Emergency Department.

SKG Radiology Wexford

Along with SKG Murdoch branch, SKG Radiology Wexford provides a range of imaging services including ultrasound, nuchal translucency, Doppler, interventional radiology and FNA biopsy, amongst others.

If you require any services by SKG during your stay in hospital, you will receive a separate account as SKG Radiology is separate to the hospital.

Please check with your health fund to find out whether they will cover any out of pocket expenses.

Cancer care centre

We have a dedicated cancer centre to look after people going through treatment for cancer.

You can be:

• reviewed by your oncologist
• receive treatment
• receive medications.

With 20 private treatment bays allow you to receive chemotherapy treatments, IV treatments and blood product transfusions.

We have dedicated oncology pharmacy and consulting rooms for medical practitioners from Oncology West.

The Murdoch Surgicentre offers day surgery appointments.

The centre provides high quality, safe and efficient health care to patients undergoing surgery, who do not need an overnight stay in hospital.

Pharmacy

A retail pharmacy operates from the Wexford Medical Centre available for patients and members of the community.

The pharmacy is open:

9.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday
9.00am to 12.30pm, Saturday. 

MURTEC and conference centre

MURTEC is a comprehensive clinical training facility located at St John of God Murdoch Hospital. 
MURTEC is utilised by Murdoch Hospital to ensure our caregivers are up to date with clinical competencies and can provide exceptional patient care.
