Dr Richard Benny is a general surgeon with special interests in hernia and colorectal surgery. Dr Benny has more than 27 years’ experience in the medical field and 15 years’ experience as a general surgeon in Australia. He provides care in Bunbury and the surrounding areas.

Dr Benny is passionate about rural surgery, he did his Rural Surgery Fellowship training in Alice Springs, Darwin and Wagga Wagga. He has now worked extensively in Alice Springs, Toowoomba and Bunbury. Richard is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, General Surgeon Australia, The European Hernia Society, the Australian Hernia Society and GESA for scopes.

Dr Benny can operate at Bunbury Regional Hospital, St John of God Bunbury Hospital, Bunbury Day Hospital, Busselton Hospital, Collie Hospital and Narrogin Hospital. He will also run consultation clinics in Bunbury, Vasse and Narrogin so his patients can be seen close to home.
